I have dealt with Widlcat...their service over the phone is great...they take your info..check the yard...reserve that item while they call you for the yes/no....Prices are a tad high but then you got to remember they have to verify the part is there, condition, get back to you...get the go ahead, pull the part box and ship etc..you may find it on e-bay cheaper..probably unlikely or luck upon the part at a swap meet or off the beaten path smaller yard.  Usually if it is a hard to score item..the aggravation and travel to go look here and there makes the purchase a good one.  I think Young Ed scored a couple pieces for the '62 Polara at French Lake and shipped them to me.

More and more yards are disappearing. I think some of the bigger units like you just posted are buying out some inventory of the small guys..which is good for availability..bad for prices to the consumer......PAY TO PLAY

French Lake is awesome...I hit it at least 2 times a year....only problem is you can't drive in...you gotta hump in your tools and hump out your parts...

Ed..thanks for the heads up...sent you a private e-mail and picture of item I would like to locate...got to digging in my boxes and found I could use one of the items I pictured in my mail..that 62 may or may not have it left on the car but would appreciate you looking for it please..I reference the pictures you sent me but there was no shots of the rear of the car.....do they cut out sheet metal chunks for patching?.....contact me via e-mail if they do..need a chunk about 6 x 12 inch of a right rear fender arch..

Thanks

Should I bring the donuts? There is a great little place by my house.....

My want list is pretty small and mostly for other people.

mmm donuts.....<drool>..YES!

As usual I'll be your donkey to haul parts....unless we find a rear diff in decent condition!  Otherwise I doubt there will be many PH trucks to pick over unless they got new ones.

I'm hoping they put the sell whole trucks they had last fall out into the part out area. They had a good one when I was there.

I reckon that they would be the same as ours over here Tim. Maybe I'll have to get a larger suitcase and do another BBQ trip?
