Who is planning the trek to Lake Elmo, MN for the combined national meets of the WPC Club and National DeSoto Club, July 17-20? http://www.chryslerclub.org/meetinfo.htm

I'm planning to drive up to my home town of Ladysmith, WI to visit family over the preceeding weekend, then head over to Lake Elmo on Monday, the 15th. The meet doesn't officially start until Wednesday, so I'll be hanging out and sight seeing in the area on Tuesday. For those in the area I'd be interested in an informal get-to-gether Monday or Tuesday evening. I'm also hoping to make a stop in Plainview, MN on Sunday morning to see a couple of my Cousins on my way home. I'm looking forward to this trip... Family, Friends, and Classic Mopars. B)

Also for the locals that won't be attending, please come out to the Washington County Fairgrounds for the show on Saturday.

Merle I won't be an offical participant but I certainly plan on crashing a couple times. I might be able to do something too. I think its my turn to buy pizza?

Youngster Ed, you and 48D on the same diet? Pizza 6 days a week?

Seeing as the last time Merle and I had dinner together was in 2010 while Carmon and I were in WI on our honeymoon I think I can have pizza again.

Possibly. So many pizzas to keep track of.

That must have been after you, I , and Carmon ate pizza

I'll be there with FEF.  I'd be up for meeting for some Savoy Pizza in St Paul!

I had forgotten about that, Ed. That was at the Moose Jaw in Lake Delton after a day at Automotion. Good memories...

I'm making the trip for the Desoto side of the convention so my dad and I will be up there. We are taking the 41 Desoto. Its a good thing it is a comfortable car for the 12 hour or so drive! I just looked over everything and I think we are leaving Wednesday so we should be there that evening. We are definitely going to attend, buy its a little up in the air for when we are arriving.

do we want to have a forum night someplace for pizza guys?

For anyone who might care.  That weekend is also the "Car Craft Summer Nationals" at the state fair grounds in St Paul.

Can't make it this year but we are planning to do the POC thing next year in Port Huron.  Who is going to be up for that?  Any idea where WPC will be in 2014???

I think I heard it would be in Springfield, IL but I don't have confirmation on that yet. I'm sure they'll tell us at this year's event.

Only 1 week away now. My vacation starts this Saturday. :D  B)  As I mentioned, I'll be there some time Monday afternoon. Joe says he'll be there Wednesday evening, some time. I looked at the event schedule and Wednesday evening is the WPC Club's annual board meeting, and Thursday evening is the DeSoto Club's annual board meeting. So, there's really nothing really going on for the general member. Unless Joe is involved in the DeSoto Club Board, either of those evenings would be good for a Pizza night. Round up the local guys and let's get something scheduled. Ed or Mark, name a time and place...

I'd say Savoy's Pizza in St. Paul around 5 or so on Thursday?  We should get a head count so whomever shows up first can snag a big enough table.  Parking is a little tight there, but the pizza is phenominal!

Parking being tight and collector vehicles scares me a little.

Green Mill off of Century(?) and 94 then, by 3M?  Way not as good as Savoy's tho.

Define "Parking is a little tight." Would you be comfortable parking your truck there? I'm not that fussy about mine, but mine's more of a "driver" than a "show" truck.

Honestly, on second thought, while to me Savoy's is the best pizza in town, it's not worth the potential issues in the lot they have.  I'd say Green Mill would work better for space and protection for the cars/trucks.

Man.....I wanna go.....and not just for the pizza!

Miss my buddy Merle and it would be cool to meet Mark, ED, and the others.....

Eat a slice for me guys...!
