Young Ed Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Nice 46-47! I have a set of those same lights you have on the cowl that I should install as turn signals. I was going to put mine down in the front though. Did they weld shut the other holes for the cowl lights? Quote

Don Coatney Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Spencer; Glad you found your way over here and as I told you your truck looks great. This place is much better than the HAMB in my opinion. There was a recent thread about installing a T-5 in a truck. Learn to use the forum search and you will find a lot of information. Are you Army? MacGyver Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Very cool, SSD. Congrats and welcome to the forum. (I see you're from New Berlin..., that wouldn't happen to be New Berlin, Wisconsin, would it?) Quote
Don Coatney Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Also, post pictures of your clipper. What is your MOS? Quote
Young Ed Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 I've got a thread on mating a t5 to my flathead for my next 39-47 pickup. I haven't gotten any further with it though so no details of fitting it into the frame etc. Quote
1940plymouth Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 (edited) Thank you for your service to our great country How about New Berlin, NY? Edited February 26, 2013 by 1940plymouth Quote
1940plymouth Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Thanks Don, I didn't figure it was NY, truck is in too good a condition to have survived here Quote
SSD Posted February 27, 2013 Author Report Posted February 27, 2013 Yup texas and I'm 11B and heres some pics of the clipper and the bike don't have any of the wife's. Pawpaw restored the Packard once finishing in the early 80s so it is a GREAT platform, it has one hole in the fender and a couple under the rear driver door (I want somebody to teach me to lead for that spot) and thats about it. It has a 327 straight 8 9 bearing 3 speed manual with manual overdrive all the trim is there the pot metal crome grill cracked but thats it i think some time with the tig and i can send it for re-chrome. The interior is beautiful with only the carpet fading. Thad about sums it up. Quote
SSD Posted February 27, 2013 Author Report Posted February 27, 2013 And heres my shovel I got it as a basket a couple years ago and here it is its my main ride. Hopefully the Dodge will take some of the load off after the trans swap Quote

Looznutz Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 (edited) I have a Edmunds two two barrell intake manifold for the Packard if you are interested. Was going to use it on my rod project along with a McChuloch v57 supercharger but I don't think I have the skills to build it. Well let me know if you are interested.
