Well it is official. I will not be attending BBQ. So I won't arm wrestle you for the bumper Tim. Unfortunately I could not get the beast ready. Life and friends crossed the way. Gosh I wanted to go so badly. Well perhaps next year. To bad I will not get to meet you all you nice people, enjoy.
So purple with envy at Paul at this moment!! Good for you I will try and have mine registered next week. Still working on it but almost done. Hope the speed gods are with me. Wish me luck,
What would you like for the switch Kevin? How many amps is that breaker? Mine does not have any markings and I found some at AutoZone but range from 2 amps to 50 amps.
I should get so I can put all of you trouble makers and take you to the pen!! But hell that would make a great small camper for two people. Very nice, to bad I don't have the funds.
Well I was installing my cab harness today and I was almost done wiring the headlight switch when the dammed gremlins hit. I broke one of the studs to the switch. Well my question is the switch has a little square in the back and it looks to be removable can it be replaced by itself or do I have to replace the whole switch? If it can be replaced by itself can I buy it at the parts store and If I can does anybody have a part number?

On a lighter note I found this little toy at toys r us and just had to have it.

Very nice!!
Sorry for the dirty finger nails. Had no time to get a manicure this weekend. Working hard to get truck going
Well it looks like I might not make it after all. It looks like DMV wants 800 bucks to register the truck cause last owner did not put it in non op. I don't have the money at the moment. I have not giving up yet. Doing some side work to finance registration. We will see.
BRING IT ON TIM!!! I'm shooting for the BBQ. I just got a bunch if parts in for the truck and made a harness that I will be putting in this weekend. Than look at the rear axle and front tie rod . And I should be done.
I just got mine today from VP and they don't look to bad. It brings a rubber boot that goes over the light bulb socket to seal it from water. Here are the pictures.

If it turns over ck Oil, if it has oil and it looks clean connect a battery and do a compression test in all the cylinders that should give you an idea of what the engine is worth to you.
I have a Edmunds two two barrell intake manifold for the Packard if you are interested. Was going to use it on my rod project along with a McChuloch v57 supercharger but I don't think I have the skills to build it. Well let me know if you are interested.
