Young Ed
Me too but I have one already! Mines not quite that nice but its fun. Interesting they appear to have gotten a few parts from a blackout truck. All 4 interior handles and the speedometer. I still prefer the lower grill painted black even though I see them both ways. Plymouthy Adams
it is very refreshing not to see the word "resotation" used at any time...a well written ad..looks to be late 50's Plymouth engine
Desotodav
What a great looking old truck. Would have been nice to see it finished underneath as well though. Desotodav
dontknowitall
Yes, agree Davin but still a nice truck. What a great looking old truck. Would have been nice to see it finished underneath as well though.Desotodav
greg g
Have never noticed a cast iron internal bypass outlet before. Wonder why they decided to leave the frame au natural when so much workd was done of the rest of the truck.
Young Ed
Perhaps they didn't remove the body from the frame at all when fixing it? Seems unlikely since a truck is pretty easy to remove from the frame and you almost have to in order to get the back of the cab and front of the box painted nicely. Otherwise maybe they painted it poorly and drove it enough that it rusted again?
Plymouthy Adams
many people give the body and interior the ole once over but items like trunk, engine bay and under carriage gets totally by passed...I will not make excuses or try to deduce their reasoning...I always considered it a short cut to the highway..but then I do not follow the norm on many things.. pflaming
Question: If that were a chevy or ford of the same year +/- would the price be different?
Plymouthy Adams
as i see it, still just 11.5 cents a pound at the crusher...
Jim Roach
This is a classic "frame up" restoration not a "frame off" restoration. This is kind of a short cut to a great looking truck.
