Anyone ever see a tan colored Pilothouse?

I am thinking about painting my truck a light desert tan color.

I know it is not a stock color but I kinda like it and it would be cooler in hot weather than most colors. If anyone has any photos of a tan one I sure would like to see them.

Thanks, Jeff

Sorry that it's not a truck , but this is a stock dodge color for 46-48 d-24s.

Frankie..that's close to the original color of my 41 Dodge big butt...I think mine has tad more of a creamy look to it....lights colors looks good on a large car..

Take a look at these. There are a lot of 'tans', the modern tan / black in today's clothing I think would look good. Tan is a good southern CA color cause it reflects heat so well.

I wonder how much modification he did to get that 49 ribbed bumper mounted so nicely. I have a set of those for my 40 plymouth pickup.

"earth tone", probably quite correct. It's my 'barn find' or 'original patina' trophy. Got it for Christmas back afew from my son-in-law who found it in a stream bed in Indiana. It still has the key in it!!!!!! You might say it was 'shot at and missed, sh_ _ at and hit!"

More like 4 or 5 when it happened. Jefff, I try not to be so accurate when it comes to carbon dating myself. Spent this beautiful California weekend shooting down a canyon with my wife on our mountain bikes Saturday and Sunday roadbiking in Palos Verdes. No truck stuff this weekend.
