We finally have all the vinyl lettering off the semi trailer. I finished waxing it this morning and took it out on our land for pictures. I tried so hard to get it done with the fall colors and most of my good colored maples and oaks have already lost there leaves. Finished just in time to park it until next year.

Should I have a need to re-locate I would be proud (might even pay extra) to have you haul my "stuff" in your van. That rig looks terrific! What are your plans for it going forward? Are you going to show it, put it to work, or both?

Wow....wouldn't have even noticed what kind a weather it was...the truck is just to dang sharp lookin'!:D

Looks absolutely great! But how about the before and after pics for comparison?

How do you get that much done that quickly. I can't even begin to approach that speed on a project.

By the way, looks great.

Thank you for the compliments!!!!

I must explain. We restored this truck in 2002. It took 14 monthes to get both the truck and trailer done. This project was done with many, many hours after work nights and weekends. My father was a tremendous help and my wife not knowing what the dollar amount "truly" certainly helped.

I built it to advertise an amusemnet park we owned and had vinyl stickers all over the truck and trailer. The truck is usally parked inside and the stickers came right of. However, the trailer has been parked outside and the stickers stuck like you would'nt believe. I think I spent more money to get them off than to purchase and put them on. The tractor paint looks great, the trailer may need a pro next spring to buff it or do something. If you look close there is a color issue.

I will try and find pictures from when I draged it home.

Thanks again.

P.S. This is not the truck I just took to paint, that was my first pilot house from 1980. That will be done ???????????

Merle,

I did finish the interior, we had "ISSUES" with the product. It kinda looks great now. I tried to be smart and glue the corner window rubber down so it would not curl up. Well, Don't use Goof Off to remove the excess glue. It took the finish off of the vinyl piece between the windows. I got pissed and thought I would leave until spring to fix. Along with many other items on the "Semi Truck To Do List".

Here is a picture of the semi, I can't find the pictures of the trailer. Both units were taken completely down to the frame. All everything was replaced or repaired if needed. I will try to find more pics someday.

NICE RIG, outstanding....I have included an antiqued version in this post and what I believe is a fairly rare extended cab coach built model.

Is that extended cab original from dodge?? Very cool
