Cpt.Fred
well, here i go again. after seeing the nice agape skirts from furylee a few days ago, i started thinking about the topic once more and tried some photoshopping to see how it would look like. i'm more confused than ever. no skirts (as is now): agape skirts: bubble skirts: are the bubbles bigger than this or is that correct? what do you think? Don Coatney
You should go for the Nash look and add front skirts.

Young Ed
Fred I prefer the bubble ones on your car. They work well with that lower line on the fender. The front edge of the skirt continues that line as if it started at the bottom and curved around and to the back.
woodie49
I thik the second option - the bubble skirts - really look great on that car. They continue the body lines and give it a more elegant look. Love the visor too. Something i have always wanted to add.
RobertKB
I don't personally like fender skirts. Why hide those nice wide whites? A set of hubcaps would help though.
Niel Hoback
Me too, I don't care for skirts either, but if forced, I'd choose number three.
Joe Flanagan
Only my personal opinion, but I have never liked fender skirts. They always looked to me like an afterthought (and not a very good one).
windsor8
I vote for the agape skirts.
Robert Horne
My 48 had skirts, visor, spot lights, etc, when I bought it.
Cpt.Fred
i know, i can very well remember that photo. amazing how big the car looks on 14" rims... i have a set of 50 chrysler wheels that are going to be black with 4" white walls. i still have the dogdishes on the wall, but i like the look whithout them. maybe sombreros for the front? hmm. i recently found a set of yellow sealed beams on ebay, but unfortunately they were for 12V cars only. that would have been great! the unity spots are on the shelf and i got some nice detail photos from fred (rockwood) earlier this week that will help me installing them. since this was planned to be some kind of "bomb" or whatever you want to call it, i feel fenderskirts are a must have for me. nice thing is they can always be taken away, unlike the spotlights. ed, i guess you're right. the agape skirt is better if i look at the fender only, but when i see the whole body it is a little bit too graceful for my little old grey whale of a car. so i think i'm going to try my luck with steel bubbles from big jim's. Dan Hiebert
I like form fitting skirts - and the Agape fender skirts, too, for that matter To each their own, depends on the look you want. To me, fender skirts at a minimum make the car look longer, and perhaps a bit more "upscale", the bubble ones even more so than the fitted ones. And you can instantly change the look by simply removing them. I really like the look of WWWs with the hubcap and full trim ring on my D24, but I wouldn't mind a set of the Agape style skirts.
