greg g Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Hey John, Have you fully recovered from your high water problems?? Quote
Cpt.Fred Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Great car, Larry! Do you have pics of the undercarriage? I'm interested in how you routed the exhaust pipes under the car, i'm building a new setup on my '40 at the moment and i'm still searching for reference pics... Fred Quote
Labrauer Posted March 25, 2011 Author Report Posted March 25, 2011 I have a split manafold on the 230ci engine and routed the pipes all on one side of the car past the rearend and then turned one in front of the gas tank for the drivers side of the car the other goes straight back. Hear are some pics hope you can make them out Quote
greg g Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 What position is your hear riser flaper in??? If you turn it clockwise completely then clamp it there it will act to further seperate you exhaust pulses. Quote
Young Ed Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 Larry got a question for you. Does your pass 1/4 stainless look the same as your drivers side? I think you have a pass side one on the drivers side? Perhaps intentional? Quote
windsor8 Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 Looks nice, I'm anxious to get my painting and reassembly done. Quote
Cpt.Fred Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 thank you, larry! if only i had that much space under the car, those huge crossmembers of the P10 and the batterie housing under the driver's seat leave little room. we'll see. must have that sound, too... fred Quote
