  1. I know you guys around here don't like me, but please, I really need help on this. I have been trying to get this air cleaner back on since yesterday afternoon. If I get this help that I need, you never have to see my name again. This assembly isn't in the service manual, owners manual, or anywhere else I have looked. Please help me.
  2. I took the air cleaner off the car today, to clean it out and put new oil in it. The "tension ring" with the turn key never had a good hold on the carb, so I don't think it was ever put on right. But, I cannot seem to find any pictures, or anything in the service manual, about correct assembly/installation of the oil bath air cleaner. Can anyone provide pictures of how it is assembled and installed? Thanks-
  3. Is it safe to run a bottle of FI/Carb cleaner through the gas thank (ie Gumout, Lucas etc)? Picked up all of my stuff to change the oil...got a Napa Gold filter, instead of Fram.
  4. That's where my Plymouth is originally from. Neat-o.
  5. Those were sharp cars! I was also quite fond of the 1957 Savoy that was in the basement
  6. Mmm. Then what do you suggest I use, o wise one?
  7. Gee, sorry that I have a life outside of this forum and don't get on much and see EVERY thread posted... Just delete the topic if you wish, then.
  8. -nod nod- Just curious and want to know
  9. What's your oil of choice for you Mopar? I usually use Valvoline Conventional 5W-30, just as my grandpa did with the car, and a Fram spin-on type oil filter. It was converted years ago, but I still have the original assembly. With that being said...do you think it would be OK to use a bottle of STP Oil Additive? Or maybe Lucas? I have used STP several times, on other cars and I love it. One of which, was my girlfriend's/her dad's 1995 Crown Victoria that had a bad oil leak, and it really slowed it down. Just asking since it's an old motor. It was rebuilt in the late 1980's.
  10. Here's my $0.02... From all of my readings, the P15S Deluxe had the plain push button. The P15C Special Deluxe (what mine is) had the locking button. My glove box lock is different than the trunk. The GB key is small, resembles say a small file cabinet key. It's not the original key, it was cut on a Briggs & Stratton blank. Appears to be the original lock, though. Hope this could shed some light
