Alshere59 Posted October 8, 2010 Author Report Posted October 8, 2010 (edited) Nice manifold. I need to change my saved search, I didn't see that one. I picked my Fenton up for 200 at a swap meet tempting to sell it and get the 2 barrel. I wonder which would give you more power? They had a D&S on a bit back that went over 300 so yea it will be intersting to see. Who is/was D&S anyway never heard of them and looks like a Fenton. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330477887985 Edited October 8, 2010 by Alshere59 Quote
greg g Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 That one popped up on a mopar flathead search, kind of stumbled on it. the specs say the 56 2bbl option made 132 HP as opposed to the 125 of the single. Probably about the same as a 2 x1bbl set up but with less fussing and no linkage fabrication. Quote
Young Ed Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 I'm not sure about the no linkage fabrication. Unless you have the factory linkage to go with the intake the 2bbl stuff looks way different then what I have for a 1bbl. Quote

53_Suburban Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 It went for $735.01. A bit rich for my blood. Quote
Alshere59 Posted October 15, 2010 Author Report Posted October 15, 2010 Well it went higher than I expected. If I knew I would get the same price, my Fenton would be on Ebay. It is in much better shape. Quote

Don Coatney Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 I wonder what it would have brought if it the auction were NOT posted on this forum? Posting auction links here are good for the seller but not good for the buyer. Quote
greg g Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Did any one hear bid on either one?? Quote
mackster Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 Nope I have a rule of thumb, if someone posts a link, i dont bid on it...because it will be higher priced.(maybe if its at what i consider a good price) The Hamb has a rule to not post current epay links..like Don say is good for the seller and not for the buyer...but to each its own. dezeldoc Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 How come i never get these suckers bidding on my auctions! someone paid well over 3 times what they are worth. Quote

james curl Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 The only one that I have ever seen for sale was at the Pate swap meet three years ago and they wanted $800.00 for it. They still had it the next year and I told them it was priced too high to which they replied it was theirs and that was the price, no coming down on price either. Quote
