Need your help (ot)

My son and I have been given a 1948 Pontiac that has been sitting for twenty years, but has had some body work done before she started to sit.

I have been looking for a forum for Pontiacs of the '40's on Google, but haven't been able to find one.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Any forums that cover the Pontiacs. I don't imagine they are as good as this one, but I would think there is a forum out there, but then again, maybe not

Think they were know as Silver Streaks, maybe something there. and they were real popular withthe low rider crowd, so there might be some info there.

Is it a 6 or 8?? Neighbor down the street had one when I was a kid, 41 8 four door, Man that was a big car.

Those are very nice cars. After a '40'sMopar that would be my next choice. That looks like a two door fastback model which was my favourite of all the '46-'48Pontiacs. I think they are a much nice car than the same year Chevs.

You may also want to check postwar Chevy websites since they were similar to Pontiac.
