Young Ed Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 Finally got a picture of the treasures I picked up the other day. Sorry guys the mirror arm is already on its way to a new home. Quote
Young Ed Posted July 30, 2010 Author Report Posted July 30, 2010 Taken out of a d24 to be recovered for my p15. Mine are missing about 1/2 of the foam. Quote
HanksB3B Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 If the mirror bracket were a passenger side you could put it on Ebay and retire early. Gotta love junk yards, Hank Quote
Young Ed Posted July 30, 2010 Author Report Posted July 30, 2010 I sold it to Tim aka 48 dodger. There'll be no early retirement...... Quote
48Dodger Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 I sold it to Tim aka 48 dodger. There'll be no early retirement...... HanksB3B Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 Well someone a while back went off on a tangent...thinking they were no longer available and wanted to fabricate them for the passenger side. Good to know though, Hank Quote

Reg Evans Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 If the mirror bracket were a passenger side you could put it on Ebay and retire early.Gotta love junk yards, Hank Hank is correct. I sold this set a couple of years ago to a forum member and haven't worked since then. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Glad this thread popped back up, Ed scored a very nice black D24 Custom Special headlight knob with intact locking ring on his recent scrounging trip...he saw it in the car, remembered I was looking for one and came through with flying colors.. Hats off to Ed...hoist one in a toast to his support of folks here and maybe a chorus of "for he's a jolly good fellow" Thanks...Tim Quote
Young Ed Posted August 5, 2010 Author Report Posted August 5, 2010 I must say not a bad trip considering it was just for looking for armrests and scouring what was there before it closed. Last night I got back to working on door panels so with that and my new arm rests(from the same d24 as tims knob) I should have a complete interior soon...... Quote
48Dodger Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Hank is correct. I sold this set a couple of years ago to a forum member and haven't worked since then. Dude......things will turn. Got any good glass? Give me a call. And yes...Ed is a jolly good fellow! 48D Quote
Reg Evans Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Thanks for the words of encouragement Tim ! You are correct about things turning around because in two more weeks Uncle Sam will begin returning the money He made me send to him starting way back in 1965. YAHOO Quote
