41/53dodges
ok, the stereotype of a person with an old truck is an old guy, and i know its wrong. so, im wondering, what kind of age groups are most people that are on this forum that work on these old mopars? ONLY VOTE ONCE, THIS IS ON THE TRUCK SIDE TOO.

RobertKB
Just turned 61 in February while in Hawaii. However, I bought my first old Mopar, my '53 Plymouth that I still own, when I was 26. I was actually looking for a '53 at the time as my dad had owned one new so I guess I have been an old Mopar fan for a long time.........Edit..I did use the poll before I added the post. 40plyrod
I'll be 36 this year, but I got my old yellow chevy and started working on it before I could legally drive. And one day I'll be an old guy still working on old cars.
BobT-47P15
Age 66. Parents bought a new 46 Plymouth four door ....I think Dad once said it was the first one sold after the war, in our town. I always thought it was a rather neat car. And before that, Dad had a 38 Plymouth coupe. So I guess I come by the Mopar thing honestly. hkestes41
I'm 49 but like Robert have been a fan of the P15's since purchasing my 48 Business Coupe at the age of 14 with yard mowing money. Now have a Club Coupe but wish it was my old Business Coupe.
james curl
I voted and was surprised to see that I was in one of the two groups with only 4 people in it, correction, now the only group with 4 people in it.. My step father had a 41 Plymouth 4 door sedan and a 40 Dodge pick up when he and my mom married in 1948, we later bought a 48 Plymouth green 4 door that I took my drivers license in. My first car was a 33 Plymouth 4 door sedan in 1951 when I was 15. Edited March 26, 2010 by james curl

Bob my Grandfather got on the list after the war and bought a brand new 1946 dodge. Since he had to be on a waiting list I'm sure it wasn't the first one sold in this area but he did get a 46. Reg Evans
I'm 61.5 years old now. My first vehicle at age 15 was a 38 Dodge truck in excellent shape but without an engine that a friend and I went in partners on. $20 each and we coasted it down the road about 1/2 mile to his back yard. 2nd car at 16 was a 33 Plymouth with an engine and I had a drivers license! Ah....no more coasting. So.......I've always been drawn to old cars.
moose
I'm 37. My first car, at 17, was the '54 Belvedere that I still own.
