Joe Flanagan Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 Me want. The poster, not the model. How do you produce a poster size version of that? Quote
randroid Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Joe, There's a place near my house that creates signs, banners, and posters to order. I've never priced them but like everything concerned with printing there are many price ranges from which to choose so I suggest doing some serious shopping. As an example, I found the cost of printing my first Novel to be between four and eleven grand for a thousand copies. Let us know what you find. -Randy Quote
RobertKB Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 I imagine she could supply a spark or two! Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 On some copier/printers you can print a poster size item by using several 8 1/2 by 11 sheets of paper. It just prints a portion of the overall picture on each page then you have to piece them together. I have also seen printing shops that say they make poster size and larger prints. Must have a big press or copier. Niel......how are you printing a poster and what size is it? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 I imagine she could supply a spark or two! given the age of that poster...I would guess the gal is probably pretty well sparked out by now...but hey..I might be wrong...would this come under the "moped" rule.??? Quote

David Maxwell Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 I really like this image. I cleaned it up a bit in Photoshop and will take it to Kinkos and have them print me one about 20 inches high. Quote
Troganin Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 kinkos would do it or any other art/photo place can print big. An issue would be the original image size and how far they can blow it up before it gets grainy. They will also print it so that it dosnt fade like an on your desk ink jet print would. Idk if I like the cleaned up one, the yellowed would look like its an old poster if you printed it. 50th post... Quote
Don Coatney Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Scan and print any size you want, hang in garage. Is it just me or do all 6 batteries in this poster look larger than normal????? Quote
jd52cranbrook Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 California Car Cover sells signs and posters you can personalize. A bit pricey, but cool http://www.calcarcover.com/product_list.aspx?cid=194 And four batteries looks larger than normal, the other "pair" look a bit small for the entire package,,, I'm just sayin,,, Or then again, maybe just right.
