desoto1939 Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 I could read the entire article perfectly fine The human brain is a very amazing living item. We are still finding out facts about how it functions every year. Also the brain does not feel pain that is why they can operate on it without any anesthesia. Rich Hartung Quote
RobertKB Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 No sweat. I have seen that before and was amazed then and am again how our brain functions. Also, I taught junior high (Grades 7-9) for over 30 years and can read just about anything and any printing or writing. Does anyone under 30 actually handwrite anymore? At the end of my career (five years ago) only about 10% of kids actually used curvsive writing; the rest printed even though they knew how to hand write. Quote
Niel Hoback Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 Hey, everything looks like that to me when I type it. I can wear out a spellchecker. Quote

Azanmig huh? yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt! Important thing here is that not only must the first and last letters be correct but the word itself must contain the correct letters as well even though they are mixed up. If you look at each word in the paragraph, it contains all the correct letters but they are all mixed up except for the beginning and end. That is why all one, two, and three letter words are spelled correctly as you cannot make a variation on them. So in a way spelling still counts, even in this situation. Quote

DutchEdwin Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 When I'm right, spelling is just a understanding in how to write things complicated. Like John said, the line is now plain Dutch , no problem for me to read, although you still need all the letters to be there. If you write it like in Finland, just write in as you speak it, phonetic, and there are no spelling problems . Quote
