I've been watching that 58. The reserve is more like 70K. Makes me almost want to sink 20K in to my 58.

I like the line... "The frame is as smooth and pit-free as the body. All the wheel wells are painted and smooth for easy cleaning if you choose to drive it. Personally, I think this should be in someone's Mopar museum."

It's quite obvious that this truck has not been driven since it came out of the resto shop. It is nicely done, but is it worth that much? Maybe at Barrett Jackson. ;)

This one was at Mopars in the Park last summer. It was at least as nice at the one on ebay but it wasn't a trailer queen. He drove it there both days along with his buddy that has a matching '59

They found these two trucks together and bought them as a pair. Each guy restored his own truck, but they also worked to gether some. Both were beautiful.

I sat and chatted with them quit a bit. They are great guys. We didn't talk money, so I don't know how much they had into them. It was interesting to hear how each would tackle a particular aspect of the build. It sounded like the guy with the '57 has a few other nice trucks.

Dennis probably remembers them too, and may even know some of his other trucks.

I wonder if the man with the 57 started with something like this. The rear 1/4 panels were very prone to rusting out.

Wow that's one clean truck! I'd even be scared to move a couch in that thing.

I've never seen one of these in person, but looking at all the detailed pictures, it's interesting to note how much hidden similarities exist in comparison to our Pilouhouse era trucks. For example, the frame, shackles, back of cab, bed interior, and tailgate. On the outside, the truck looks very different than the B-series with a few clues to its past.

In today's economy..pretty likely...I saw some very good buys exchanging hands at the swap meet..then there are always those that are clouds above the average dream price...most were very eager to talk alternative prices

all in all..prices seemed to be way lot better overall on lots of things..a few choice items going up..
