40phil41 Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Can anyone tell me the year of this Plymouth Hubcap? I think that it may be 1950 but not sure. The set of 4 came with a bunch of parts I purchased over 20 years ago and they have been sitting in my basement ever since (wrapped in a 1953 newspaper). They are used and will be going up on eBay very soon. Thanks, Phil Quote
RobertKB Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Phil, not sure what year but they sure do look pretty. You should get a decent price for a set of four that look like that. Maybe someone on the forum might be interested. Quote

Frank Elder Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Thank you for not being in your undies in that shot:D:eek:those are really nice caps. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 This one was listed on ebay as a 1950 model cap. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 After doing some looking - I believe they are 1949 model caps. Quote
40phil41 Posted January 4, 2010 Author Report Posted January 4, 2010 Thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure whether the bathroom comments would out number the hubcap year but the hubcap has won out so far. Phil Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 I must say that a lot of our threads slowly make their way to the crapper...this one originated there...distinctly different...I hve two sets of those caps here at the house...i personally removed them form 1950 models ... Quote
