One of the places that I have delt with on carpet and interior is stockinteriors.com they are pretty freindly people to deal with. They will send you some samples of what ever color you want to compare with the interior that is allready in the car or if you want to do it all. The only thing is that they do not make a headliner for my 48 Plymouth sedan. bummer. If you wish to contact them their number is 866-868-4577 or www.stockinteriors.com/install.asp. Just a thought. My 1935 Plymouth could use some new carpet. A quick search revealed a company "stockinteriors.com" and they list what appears to be a nice custom fit set in multiple colors. Does anyone have experience with the carpet from them? Decent set or keep looking? Thanks! David

I bought carpet for my 51 Wayfarer from stockinteriors.com. Fit was ok. Bought some extra for door panels, kick panels and rear package tray...

do a search on the internet..narrow it to a company in Alabama..I know they have in the past supplied excellent carpet for the older cars as I have seen these in person at the car shows. Just for the life of me cannot remember their name..they will have a 1-800 number also..they visit many swap meets..and will bring the carpet to one close to you if they are scheduled to attend with freight charge...have done this also...also I must mention I am not sure just how far back they proved carpet for cars...but all the people who have used them are pleased..I know what good am I ... not sure if this is it but does list our years... http://www.stockinteriors.com/items.asp?MakeId=22&ModelId=546&MainCatId=1&Desc=Plymouth_All_Models_1942-1964_Carpet

In preparation for the impending overdrive installation, I spent this forenoon removing the center floor section. Aside from trashing the 72 year old rubber floor mat, the job was pretty easy even with my pinched nerve, shot rotator cuffs, arthritic shoulder thrown into the equation. Took about an hour all included. Haven't got under yet to deal with the drive shaft but it sure looks like it will make the rest of the job a lot easier. But after the mat shreaded it self looks like a non stock carpet is going to be needed. As my body use these folks or have any recommendations? https://www.stockinteriors.com/CutSewnCarpet.asp?Itemid=7461&ModelId=546
