  1. Second guess; 36 Lincoln Zephyr. One-piece flat windshield, 37 was two piece.
  2. Lincoln
  3. Yeah, its funny until somebody gets hurt. Then its hilarious.
  4. Oy, make it stop.
  5. No, it won't touch metal. Also it dries without leaving any residue.
  6. Manual, Schmanual, I'll figure it out.
  7. Hold my beer and watch this.
  8. I have the same reaction to NAPA. They do seem to have an attitude. I dislike anypalce I go into and they treat you like you know nothing. Especially when they act like they know everything. Then theres that $5 charge to get something they should have already stocked.
  9. I tried that this morning, I'm just now regaining my eyesight.
  10. Goodonya, Andy. Nuthin like determination.
  11. Exactly, the nut should spin freely.
  12. I don't remember anything after they they started the drip. I heard somebody tell me not to worry because they use "really good stuff". It must have been good because all I remember is waking up altho they said I wasn't asleep. Getting the "clean as a whistle" report was worth the discomfort.
  13. Might be a burr or piece of rust in the nut thats hanging up on the wire. At any rate, do not twist the tube. I would probably work the nut up the wire until I could see the inside from the back and free it up. Its got to turn freely to tighten up in the block fitting. Its there to trap the bulb against the inside of the fitting that screws into the block with out twisting the tube. Possibly, by moving the nut all the way down against the bulb, you can work the wire spring back out of the nut enough to tighten it. I guess it goes without saying, be careful there.
  14. Yeah, and there's a whole gallon of it for you, too.
  15. Might be a Ford Cortina.
  16. Tombstone says; Manual Schmanual, I'll figure it out.
  17. Those are just.................odd. Notice how high the Plymouth is sitting? the rear tires look huge, and the fronts appear normal but the body is way up off of them. That would be cool to take to a cruise.
  18. Man, that was great!! What fun they were having. And that bus is really cool.
  19. I was getting ready to explain Indiana, (a title state), when I confused myself and gave up!
  20. I think he is referring to silicon sealer, RTV, that kind of stuff people use to seal leaks in corners and weatherstrip. Getting it off can be a bear.
  21. Costco is my friend. Three months after I bought my printer there, it up and died. Costco just traded me for a new, not rebuilt, one.
  22. No information is useless, especially if its about your car.
  23. Plymouths are smaller cars and the glass won't fit. All the others should swap, though, Dodge, DeSoto, and Chrysler.
  24. Thats a mighty nice lookin car you got there. Of course I'm predjudiced since its exactly like mine. When I got mine in '94, it had a dent just like yours in the middle of the back bumper too!
