  1. Just now on tv I saw the Canadian womens hockey team take the gold medal. Then they showed the most beautiful and impressive thing. The team and the entire audience singing O Canada. I just think it was wonderful and beautiful.
  2. Toledod24, thats a beautiful car, once again I am jealous. Get in and drive.
  3. Jipjobxx, wow !!!
  4. I have never seen that gasket. When I tried to remove the plug from my tank, the whole thing that the plug screws into ripped off the tank. I just sealed up the hole.
  5. Retired steelworker after 39-1/2 years at US Steel in Gary, Indiana as a weigher, craneman and stocker. Before that in a magnet factory for a short time. I don't wait for the check each month as its direct deposited.
  6. Kind of looks like a ford 6. Pretty sure its not a 4, but then its not an SUV either.
  7. Maybe try a thin slice of a fuel line that is gas resistant? Do they make fuel line that big?
  8. Beauty is in the eye of the titleholder.
  9. My P-15 has a good looking dash, but that 42 Chrysler wagon dash is absolutely stunning!

  11. That kind of bothered me from the start, the movie does show them in a 53. Yeah, I'm going with my original thought, I'd keep the 54.
  12. I was just thinking again, I know, thats dangerous, but I've had 50's Plymouths and 70's Plymouths. I'm not sure Mrs. Hild got the better deal there Personally, I'd rather have the '54. I wonder what she thinks of the trade now.
  13. Odd, but for a year I had a Triumph Mayflower that need a starter and I couldn't find one. So, of course it became standard practice to crank it by hand. Nuthin to it. Little bitty low compression engine. A really cute little car, wouldn't mind having one now. i think it was a 1958.
  14. I learn something every time I visit, but this is gonna be very valuable. Thanks.
  15. Young Ed, balsa is the lightest, softest wood there is. Did you ever make a model airplane?
  16. That's fred mertz !!
  17. Maybe its balsa wood?
  18. Glad to see Cooper again. He's a good lookin little guy. Knows where the fun is.
  19. For a long time I have been using a hose and blow gun exactly like the one shown, only with a 4 foot length of hose to steal gas for my lawnmower. Just stick the long end in your gas tank, and blow the gas into the mower tank. You only have to start it flowing, then pull the gun out of the hose and let the gas run. (see signature)
  20. Hoses listed for lower use have the spring in them. Universal bendable hoses have them molded in.
  21. I'm not sure I like this thread. I have been holding off posting replies, sort of, because my stories are rather long. The real reason is because your stories constantly remind me of how much more stupid and painful some of the things I can and have done. Even though I have plenty of scars to remind me, they all scream "stupid". I have a perfect imprint of my watchband burned into my wrist as one piece of proof.
  22. It's been 15 years I've been using a molded hose on the bottom. I was allowed behind the counter to find one that looked like it would fit. We don't need no steenking metal elbows!
  23. A neutron walks into a bar and says "How much for a beer?" The bartender says "No charge for you".
  24. The black car onn the left end is a 34 Chevy.
  25. I just don't like the looks of those ramps. Just a little to shakey lookin.
