  1. That part is why I went with AAJ and Scarebird instead. Doesn't seem to customer friendly to me.
  2. Reusing old terminals will be very time consuming in getting the old wire off/out. Many are bullet ends with the wire soldered/crimped inside. I redid my 47 Dodge with RIW with their harness made for my car. No problems. Expensive but to me, worth it.
  3. I'm pretty sure mine were 10" for my 47 Dodge.
  4. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=6+volt+positive+ground+alternator&_sacat=0&_sop=15 Looks as if they have risen in price.
  5. I bought a 6 volt positive ground alternator off of ebay for $105. Had to make a bracket but it's been fine and was easy to mount. Make sure you get the correct pulley.
  6. I can't drive my coupe in the winter. My driveway is so long, steep had has a 95 degree bend in it. The coupe would not be able to make it up when it has snow on it. But, mine does still work as I'm a bit anal with things. If I have it it, it has to work.
  7. I've read on here that the spring supplied with the kit was wound backwards. I'd call and see if the spring was wound the correct direction.
  8. Dave I removed mine as well.
  9. Your car. Lol as long as you're paying for the paint.
  10. In the neighbor's yard.
  11. OD Green. I'd say military.
  12. A bit more color on.
  13. I find that 3rd from a stop works but is turtle slow. I usually drive like Adam suggests. Just a regular 3 speed.
  14. right now I'm waiting on the transmission to be gone through so that I can mount the body, fenders and doors and paint it all at once. The trans guy is slow but cheap. Once that's done it's on to the large expense of the interior. So just doing it as money becomes available. I haven't decided what to do about the bumpers. Chrome isn't good, no chromers up here and buying good ones and shipping is going to break the bank.
  15. I sprayed a couple of coats on the firewall, dash and door pillars.
  16. I kind of like it. Reminds me of a giant hardtop bumper car. lol
  17. 1941 Chrysler Thunderbolt. I've never seen one of these before. https://rmsothebys.com/mo11/monterey/lots/1941-chrysler-thunderbolt-concept-car/1057390
  18. This morning's sunrise. A very nice one.
  19. I do not remember where I bought the adapter but I was sorely disappointed with it. Two very small 3/8" steel pieces. Could have made them myself for less than $5. I made a pattern and sent it to someone on here so you might be able to find it and make your own. I bought the AAJ rears used for $75 and the Scarebird kit was a good deal at the time as well. I would have bought AAJ for the front as well but I believe at the time SB was cheaper. I have the original wheels on mine.
  20. Dave I bought 90% of my rebuild parts from Andy Bernbaums. I was completely satisfied with everything except the vent window rubbers. They were too narrow and too short to reach around.
  21. I didn't get one from you Dave. I know someone looking for a 230 engine if you have one to sell.
  22. Dave I put discs on a 4. AAJ in the rear and scarebird in the front. No problems with either. Stock rear. Moved the front shock locations but I can't tell you if there's any improvement as I never drove it before I changed it. Kept the stock MC but installed a brand new one. The brakes work great. I have not seen a need to change the sway bar.
  23. It's 30 F above here in Alaska BA. lol
  24. Nice offer BA.
