  1. pflaming, I have nothing to offer except to say I am sorry to learn of your hearing issues. Please keep us updated on your condition and any treatment as these things are part of aging. None of us are getting any younger. I wish you success with whatever path you follow.
  2. Could it be a harmonic balancer issue? If it has one. Just trying to think of anything that could " slip" under quick acceleration. Pulley on the generator, bad impeller in the water pump. Shots in the dark because I can't discern anything from the clip.
  3. We haven't had the old girl out for a week or so. Last time we were out a photographer for the local paper captured this pic as he was doing some photography for a local story and it appeared on the front page of the local weekly paper. The pics of the paper are posted in the Off Topic Forum. The paper graciously provided a digital copy of the photo when my sister inquired. The church in the background is affectionately known as "The Old Mud Church" and is located in Philipsburg, PA. I grew up about two blocks from it and now it is about a 30 minute drive away.
  4. That's cool. I use a " mon back". My wife stands behind, waves her hand and says " mon back, mon back, stop!
  5. I wonder if the guy doing the speedo cable shorted something? Saw a spark, blew the fuse and replaced it with the wrong one. The new one being too short.
  6. If it comes to a decision on buying gas or paint, go with the gas! Keep on driving that thing.
  7. Another butt shot.
  8. More likely digital media. Last Sunday my wife and I were out cruising in the '41. When the local weekly paper came out today, there we are cruising by "The Old Mud Church" a local landmark. I bet my Dad is smiling up in heaven seeing the old car make the paper. Also made me think of Bob Drown who was always in his local paper with the Way back Machine.
  9. Let's see some Labor Day Weekend Mopar pictures. I'll start. Have a great holiday everyone!

  10. I use them sometimes. Shipping sometimes kills the deal and other sites, or local, beat them. I love to support local, but when the counter person just automatically says we don't have that and they offer no help in finding a solution, I am compelled to do my own research and then I like to reward the entity that supplies the research material. Keep in mind I am often looking for non-stock items that I know they won't have, but also know they can get. Plymouth Adams, do you mind sharing your similar company that produces the confidence to purchase from them?
  11. I don't know what that truck is worth, but it sure is pretty.
  12. Took a minute, but I got it. LOL
  13. Very cool.
  14. T120, cool pic, what's the next challenge photo?
  15. Welcome back, glad you are recovering and able to get back at it.
  16. Nothing there that won't buff out....
  17. No idea if Dodge and Plymouth are the same, my D19 book shows two different #s for 1941. Neither matches the number you listed. Probably doesn't help, but here is the info for '41 Dodge D19 anyway.
  18. I put points in my Dart once and after running great for a while it started doing what you describe. I actually changed my fuel pump at a car show about 80 miles from home. Started home and it started again. Turned out to be a distributor issue. Dad suggested I replace the points and condenser, which I did alongside the road, and what I thought was a fuel problem was gone. Other than too much lube on the lobes we didn't find anything obvious with the parts, but the problem was gone. As someone on here used to say, a lot of fuel issues are electrical and vice versa. Mine idled and ran great on the level, even revved ok. But wouldn't go up hill.
  19. Spent some quality time with the family '68 Plymouth VIP when I was in high school. 383 was smooth as silk.
  20. I would love to attend, but past my bedtime. Gotta get up at 4:25am. If anyone records it I would appreciate a link to the Zoom recording. I remember following this as it appeared here on P15-D24.
  21. Worked like a charm. Took two minutes to make. Anyone else used one?
  22. Congratulations, what's the plan?
  23. Should it become aggressive, challenge it to a boxing match, Marquise de Queensbury rules. Watch his jab, but don't concern yourself with a roundabout.
  24. Keep posting. Enjoying your adventure.
