  1. Thanks for the help!!! Couldn't find any info on the D19 parts. Found a 910507 and it looks like the right one. Not sure if my buddy wants to spend the $130 on it tho.
  2. I’m working on a friends 41 convertible. The fuse holder on the headlight switch was shorting on the dash. I believe it has the wrong switch (marked 853295) as the “nose” bracket is shorter than other ones I have seen online. The longer nose would place the fuse holder beyond the dash. The current switch has bullet connectors on it. Does anyone know the correct part number for this car and where to buy it? Does anyone know if there is an alternative switch that will fit without altering the bullet connectors on the wiring harness? I’ve seen one that I believe is for later vehicles that has what appears to be a circuit breaker on the end instead of a fuse. Will this work? Thanks for any help you can give. Eric
  3. I have wiring diagram. Your 38 has one wire to s/u and grounds thru tank....makes sense. 39-42 have two wires from s/u. Wires 34 and 35 running from "HH" s/u to "T" gauge. So where does the ground come from? I don't have access to this car right now so trying to understand the concept to help when I'm able to work on it.
  4. Have an intermittent fuel gauge. 3 wire on gauge, two wire to sending unit. I assume the two wires to the sending units are not hot. So how exactly does this gauge work? There\s the hot from the ignition but where is the ground? Is the second s/u wire grounded at the gauge? Thanks for any help in troubleshooting this. Can't seem to find any info on this configuration.
