  1. Now that is serious if home made
  2. I find it disturbing to see an ad for a frying pan under the original post. What are they trying to say?
  3. A reasonable price on Flea-Bay. Will wonders never cease?
  4. Los Control is right, sometimes free is too much to pay. That said i would have bought it for that price as well
  5. Had the same problem years ago on something. Don't remember on what but I do remember being annoyed as it was winter.

  7. I can attest to that fun fact. I had one on a Corvair do that to me in1970 at about 30 MPH. Don't know why for sure. Scared the bejeus out of 19 year old me.

  13. I am looking at the trunk lock assembly. I don't believe I have ever seen one quite like it. Is it an aftermarket with the large box on the lid with the handle attached to it? and for what purpose?
  14. I bought one from Danchuk for a 57 Chevy that was brand new for $80.00 or so and it only needed a little engineering to work well
  15. Although I never met or spoke to him I really enjoyed his posts here and on the POC site. He showed us all how much enjoyment could be got from an Old Plymouth without breaking the bank. He will certainly be missed by everyone.
  16. I agree that unless you are married to a Ford or Chevy engine that the Mopar makes more sense in addition to keeping with the history of Chrysler cars.. Reliable and good parts availability as well. Rear end is up to you of course. Many have fitted modern rear axles for better cruising as well as 4 or 5 speed manual trans. Adapters for automatics are available also.. Higher speeds suggests a brake up grade also.
  17. I used a puller as well. Then froze the new one and used a socket to drive it in after spraying a little oil into the flywheel hole. Hardest part was removal as expected.
  18. Might contact these folks for options as well: http://www.wilcap.com/webdoc8.html
  19. Order a cap for your distributor number. Two different sized of caps are available. If you get the wrong one the spark cannot jump the gap inside the cap to the plugs. To great a distance.

  21. Those shows are fine if all you are interested in is something based on a small block chevy and something with a lot of aftermarket repo parts available. Try asking for a 48 DeSoto rebuild in a weekend
  22. Happy b-day you young wippersnapper!
  23. Expensivie is right; https://alsacorp.com/easy-chrome/#pricing
  24. A man in the Plymouth I club used to belong to had one in his 1956 Belevidere Seemed to work well although he only had a few records for it.
