  1. Thanks for the plug Harold !
  2. Your puns are just plain Sealy.
  3. When you described your truck as being a kind of a bluish purple I thought you meant like this one I use to own. Just in front of the dark blue truck in this photo you can see the tail end of another truck with a similar color and after market bumper like yours. I don't believe dodge truck offered a light blue for the Pilot House trucks. I'll post color chips later if I can find them. Can you post a photo of your dash board color ? Here's a photo of the factory rear bumper on my present truck..... Old Yeller. Most folks did not order one for their new truck so they are kinda hard to find now.
  4. Hank, So are you saying your throttle linkage was slipping and that's why you were slowing down ? I get it now. As Young Ed said....if you made it home under the trucks own power you didn't really have a break down. Just a SLOW DOWN. Enjoy the visit with your bro. PS This is my 22nd post for 2011
  5. Welcome ! Sounds like you got a good deal. I have seen a few Blue trucks with the oxidized Dark blue and it does have sort of a purple hue to it. Is your bumper like this one ?
  6. Hank, What's going on with your truck that it would over heat on a relatively mild day? Was it because you were lugging it and not keeping the rpm's up ? Is your timing set right and the vacuum advance working properly? I can't remember.....was your engine rebuilt ?
  7. They are calling it Climate Change now.
  8. Langdon's Stovebolt sells these headers for $340. http://stoveboltengineco.com/index.php/catalog/store/#ecwid:mode=product&product=1396124

  10. I've heard that it works even better if you add a quarter cup of snake oil to the fuel tank .
  11. Mega Dittos Mac.
  12. Are you referring to the two feet on the bottom of the front engine mount ?
  13. I used these from an early Dodge or Plymouth car and had them recovered with matching vinyl 15 years ago.
  14. Very nice story ! I like the Pontiac hood ornament.
  15. Yeah, Here's what the full flow filter looks like. Here's one type of MoPar bypass oil filter decal.
  16. Go here........I suck. http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?p=130300&highlight=tongue+test#post130300
  17. 4mula-dlx, Your present 25" motor must be a 218 to only put out 87 hp. If you can find a 25" Chrysler 251 from say a 49 or newer the hp rating is 116. Or you could find a later model Dodge 23" 230 from 56-59 which are rated at over 130 hp.
  18. I have used them and on my last order a couple of years ago they gave me a discount because I told them I was restoring several cars. Great product!
  19. That COE and trailer really is cool ! I was excited to come across this one at the Miracle of America Museum in Polson 2 years ago on Flathead Lake,Montana.
