  1. Yeah....a total bummer....I was gonna offer you $350
  2. Niel, would you please define vultures
  3. Welcome aboard Roadworthy Dave. Nice car ! I like the 49's. Post some recent photos of your progress when you get a chance. We like photos.
  4. Hey Scotty. If the coupe has both of the old CA. plates I'd be interested in purchasing them from you.
  5. Go to Pete "Blueskies" Anderson's page and scroll down. http://www.50plymouth.com/05-tra/tra.html
  6. Weight it down in a bowl of gas and watch for bubbles.
  7. Thought you boys would like that. Hey Don.......when you coming for a visit again big boy?
  8. I do crave a little paddling once and a while while wearing my skimpy patten leather speedo with chains and matching black mask.
  9. Ore...... they snuck my boat out but I had the key.
  10. Or,as in my case, a hole in the water filled with young lovelies.
  11. Happy B-Day Zeke. Hey, with that level of detail I'll bet there's even a 610-T in the dash.
  12. CONGRATS DENNIS MN ! All ya need now is an amp and some big woofers behind the seat. HANK, Screw it........I've given up on a damn 610-T and decided it'll be much easier and cheaper to just change out my doors, grill and dash board to the 48-50 style. I have a Model 602 and several Model 802's that have been on a shelf here for years.
  13. Here are a couple of mine on the job in '97 helping build my house. A 47 1/2 ton and a 52 camper conversion.
  14. I did. It looks like the car was rear ended on the passenger side. The damage extends into the trunk floor and the gas tank. I can't find where this damage was mentioned in the description. Just curious......Would points be deducted by the POC judges ? Still ....a very nice car though.
  15. That looks like a 4 speed with a PTO. What part do you need ?
  16. Chance, Are you talking a complete 3 speed ?
  17. The 200 designation on the fender makes it a 3/4 ton and the model number,if it's a 4 x 4 will start with a W. Here's a 57 W200 with a pick up box.
  18. I installed a Chrysler 251 in my 52 1/2 ton. Only a few simple modifications were necessary. I added metal tabs under the front motor mount to reach back ~2" to the original mounting holes on the front cross member. I had to notch out the lower lip on the cross member to clear the oil pan and I installed a big truck radiator to clear the fan.
  19. I think in 57 there was a paper id tag in the glove box. Most are long gone. Try the frame rail above the drivers front wheel.
  20. Fred, Are these the ones I sent ?
  21. I'm assuming he wants to move faster than about 50 mph. How about a tow dolly. The whole load would weigh at least 1500 lbs less. Just remove the drive shaft on the Pilot House.
  22. Hank, That's as far as I've gotten too. Tim, May a chicken hawk claw you on the head.
  23. Here's the balance tube on my set. I had no idea it would also fit a Ford spitfire too. WOW !
  24. It's the sticks and stones you gotta worry about.
  25. Maybe but look at the side view of Ed's truck and draw a line from the bottom of the door to the bottom of the stake pocket. Now do the same with this truck. The bottom of Ed's stake pocket appears to be an inch or two below the bottom of the door edge and the yellow one's stake pocket bottom appears to be higher than the door bottom.
