  1. Yes but 51 was the first year for the different gauge layout
  2. Wow! I thought that poor car was a goner. Well done.
  3. Thanks for looking dezeldoc. Can you post a photo of what you did find anyway ?
  4. For my 38 Dodge. They work like some of the trunk struts I've seen.
  5. I have at least one. Maybe both.....I'll check in the morning.
  6. OK...Great !
  7. Thanks Fred and Tim ! If you get some time some close up photos directly to me at regoevans@sbcglobal.net would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Thanks Busycoupe, I do have a left and right part similar to the part on your visor that attaches to the drip rail. I guess I'm missing the other parts for each side. Guess I'll have to make something unless by some miracle someone here has the parts.
  9. Did he ever offer them the trunk ?
  10. The temp. has plummeted downward here today. It's only 46 and I'm cold to the bone. God ...help us all.
  11. Nah...there's plenty of room in the trunk for passengers.
  12. Oh...OK... P.S........glad you made it out of the plane ok Mr. Cooper.
  13. Thanks Bob. Anyone here have a visor other than Fulton they could post a photo of ?
  14. Try Vintage Power Wagons.
  15. Thanks Bob ! None of the 3 of mine are Fultons though with the dog bone mounting method. They take some other type of MYSTERY mounting hardware.
  16. I have three sun visors here and all are missing the mounting hardware. Anybody know what the parts look like to attach one of these to the drip rails or better yet....have the parts available ? I want to install one of these on Elbert.....my 49 Suburban.
  17. That's great news. Finally, the love/hate relationship is in the love column. Good luck with the OD fix.
  18. Is that a 3 speed floor shifter ? I didn't know 1 tons came with that option. Huh.....Learn something new (to forget) every day.... lately.
  19. Yes, I used sign painters 1 Shot Lettering Enamel Fire Red and a little sign painters brush. Now that I'm half blind I use my 5 power goggles so I can stay in the lines.
  20. Yeah,I just checked the listing again and he said the engine number is A063387MD Don't believe I've seen that one before.
  21. Me too Young Ed. That's why I asked the seller for the engine number. Haven't heard back from him yet. In my book a newer more powerful L6 is a plus but I just get a kick out of statements like this "an original, unaltered business coupe." I guess the original unaltered paint is still there under the repaint. Uh Oh....maybe I'm a boo bird too. Old Reg
  22. Cool ! Are you going to hook it up to a one lunger hit and miss ?
  23. Shouldn't the thermostat housing be the heavier cast type for the external bypass system ? Like the one on the left here.
  24. Supposedly all original but can you spot anything that isn't ? I still need it though. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160507647489&fromMakeTrack=true
  25. See what I'm sayin !
