  1. I don't care for the proportions with the chopped top and it appears that he has raised the bed up higher off the frame than original. Oh well, at least it's got a MoPar engine. I'd sell it if I owned it too. Sorry aero3113......to each their own.
  2. Robin, That mid 30's rim requires the caps with built in spring clips like this. I have 4 of these after market caps available.
  3. Have you tried harmonizing with it ? Kidding ! I had a 47 for many years and don't remember any whistle so can't help there but I sure do like the color.
  4. Here's what you might find.
  5. Probably about all you have to do is install a truck type intake and exhaust manifold and maybe a truck front motor mount. Also a distributor with a vacuum advance.

  8. Wow ! Did ya see that guy on the video swerve into the wrong lane and run the stop sign. 2 moving violations in 2 seconds.
  9. That's cool ! I've never seen one of those. Now all ya need is a ding dong bell and a wolf whistle.
  10. Fred, Here are two D6A2's I have. If you can use one or both just PM me. They both need a rebuild. Both measure 1 9/16" at the throttle opening. Reg

  15. According to my old car price guide that car is only worth $58,000 in #1 top show condition. The same car in #6 condition is worth about $2300. This car looks like it's off the scale at about #8. Move the decimal point over and then divide by 2.
  16. The M230 engine came from a 59 Dodge truck.
  17. This ,older than her years, young lady floors me. Google..... Jackie Evanco if you are ready to be floored.
  18. Who's the previous celebrity owner mentioned on the link ?
  19. The kid's right. It'll carry 1.5 tons easily even though it's only rated as a 1 ton. I hope he has it "On the Road Again" by now. I got a kick out of his description of those special metal thing-a-ma-jigs in the bed. I remember diagnosing that I was going to have to get a new tranny in my first pilothouse cause the thing would not catch when we tried to start it on compression by towing it with another vehicle. I'd never heard of fluid drive.
  20. I use kiln dried 60 grit.
  21. It's OK....He has 3 negative eBay feedbacks this month and none of us do either.
  22. Yes, never leave the nozzle pointed on one spot. Keep it moving back and forth. You can also mask off areas that you don't want to collect sand in too with visqueen and duct tape.
