  1. I bought these for either my 38 Dodge and my 40 Plymouth. Guess I'm not a fender skirt guy cause I just don't care for the look. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=015&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=250102983559&rd=1&rd=1 Will sell them for $125 + shipping. These were made by Big Jims Fender Skirts and are listed at $239 + shipping. Such a deal ! Rubber weatherstriping and instructions included.
  2. Just box it all up and send it to me. I'll do the same with my 7.5' pickup box.
  3. Darn Tony.....too far away but I do have a 3/4 ton 116" pickup box complete for sale or trade.
  4. That's a fresh air heater option.
  5. I like those side mounted spares too. The rim color looks very close to the original color. Did they do a special mix?
  6. OH..that's a very nice truck!!!!!!! I was watching the auction on eBay. It closed without any bids. Did you get a sweet deal? I'm looking for a factory stake bed for a 51 3/4 ton. Anyone out there have one for sale?
  7. Thanks guys. I ordered a set of 1" spacers for my 38 coupe and another set of 1.5" for my 1/2 ton. Photos of before and after later.
  8. I really like mine from DB. I got a little carried away though in wanting to go faster at the same rpm as the smaller tires that were on J Lo originally. 16" wheels w/750's rear and 700's front. I think I'm ready for a speed run on the salt now or some off roadin.
  9. Press some of those vertical buttons. I think one of them turns it on.
  10. Mark, Sorry, I don't have an extra but give me a call anyway next weekend for a visit to see if I'm around. I might have something else you can't live without. I'm in the phone book.
  11. Know what ya mean. I've been looking for that alternative pair you use to have Don. Just can't seem to lay my hands on a set
  12. Shell, do you remember where you got your spacers and how thick they were and how thin your wallet got after the purchase?
  13. Yes ! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge-VINTAGE-1930-DODGE-8-CYL-DC-8-SIDEMOUNTS-WIRES-ANTIQUE_W0QQitemZ280116144459QQihZ018QQcategoryZ6210QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  14. That's cheap isn't it compared to the $53.00 that the original owners paid to have a factory radio installed in their new (now my) 40 Plymouth sedan.
  15. Wow !!! What a score. Look out though. Your yard might start lookin like mine from space.
  16. I'm in as long as the mirrors are at least 6" in diameter.
  17. Thanks for posting the pictures 48dodger. Sorry I couldn't be there. Looking good Jim !
  18. Yeah....thier spacers were only about 1/4" thick which wouldn't do any good and then I noticed their adapters. One said it was 5 on 4.5 to 5 on 4.5 and is 1.24" thick. The picture I posted from their web site looks like it.
  19. "Up for bids is a Dodge Flat fender Power Wagon with factory wench." Well, I'm glad the wench is from the factory and not just something he picked up on the street.
  20. Question. Would these adapters from Stockton Wheel be all that I would need to move my stock 1/2 ton wheels out towards the curb more? I'm looking for a wider track and these are 1.25" thick.
  21. Another question. Would these adapters from Stockton Wheel be all that I would need to move my stock wheels out towards the curb more? I'm looking for a wider track and these are 1.25" thick.
  22. I like the stance of your truck with those reversed rims on the rear. Where'd you get them? I can't quite see the dog dish hub cap. Is it a stock one or ??? I'm bored with mine and never liked the color of them with my yellow truck.
  23. On level ground I would say yes,but slowly. On long uphill grades I'd say not very doable. I think you'd be working the 218 too much. I did tow a 41 Dodge pickup on a tow dolly once for about 100 miles with a 2000' elevation increase with my 48 3/4 ton. It had a transplanted 251 Chrysler 6 in it though. Even with the larger engine and minus the weight of the trailer my truck was working pretty hard. Just my 2 cents.
  24. Hello Mark, I can't help you with lowering the truck but wanted to welcome you to the group. Several of us here are from Northern Ca. I'm in Grass Valley. Your truck is a beauty. Looks like those Chevy's have you surrounded though. Reg
  25. Not that it matters but actually the 51 grill center wasn't stainless. It was a heavy cast pot metal chromed piece. At least the ones I've seen. "Mr. Trivial Pursuit"
