If you are tenting and have bad weather, we have extra beds. You are more then welcome.

I am not sure of the rules but you are more than welcome to camp on my hill. We have electricity and a good clean outhouse on the hill. Plus a stocked bar!!! You could use the shop shower if you don't have a shower in your camper. My land is 20 minutes from Iola. I might show up Friday or Saturday to park my semi and walk around. Anyone else is welcome also. Let me know your thoughts

The booster on my semi was rusted out and we took it out and used only the master cylinder. The brakes work ok but I usually had my trailer on and always used the trailer brake controller to stop. I bought a very clean parts truck and I am planning on changing that this spring. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Do I take it apart or just sand it up and paint it. I have all the lines to copy so I think I know how to plumb it. Todd B

I agree with Ed. I wonder what would happen if you shot a 30-06 at one of them? Several years ago my buddy had a 100# cylinder in the bed of his truck that the valve was open and the tank was empty. He asked me to help him remove the valve because he wanted the tank for a spare air tank. He bear hugged the tank as it was laying flat on the truck bed and I used a 12" cresent wrench to spin off the valve. Not sure how we did not get hurt but when the valve came loose it and the wrench flew out of my hands about 50' and the tank slammed into the front of his truck bed with unbelievable force and the tank started pissing gas out at a very high rate. Both of us took off running like little school girls. I talked to the local LP delivery guy and he figures it was a bad valve and it really wasn't open.

My semi has the badge on the dash of a 52', The door post is a B3JA, but the motor numbers and title say its a 53'. I think we have talked of this before but I think they had extra cabs in 52 that were titled 53'. I have a 1988 GMC one ton that I bought new and it has a 1987 cab on it.

This topic made me remember a great story I had with my camper. It was very funny to me and after hearing everyone (myself included) have negative comments on this thread it makes me think it wasn't very funny for the other guy. The Green Bay WI arena (next to Lambeau Field) host the annual "World of Wheels", its a very high class 4 day car show where vehicles come from all over the US and get judged for there perfection. I believe it is a year long competition that takes place in several large cities. Anyway, I was asked by the coordinators if I could bring my Semi one year and then asked to bring my camper a few years later. In both cases I did not get involved in the judging. My trucks where just something different for the crowds to see. The show started on Thursday night and we immediately had a line of people waiting there turn to see the inside of the camper. It was parked in the middle of the main isle and the people took up the complete isle waiting. The second night same big line and a guy walks up to me a calls me an A*******. I said excuse me!!!! He then said that he has $450,000 into his car and nobody even looks at his car because he was parked next to my rusty piece of crap. I said that's interesting, because I only have $12,000 in my camper. I sure thought it was funny at the time but now I kinda feel bad. Just a little bit.

Congrats on 1000 posts!!! I really want to bring my semi one of these years but it won't be this year. Way to many things on my plate. Awesome Christmas present Merle. I am proud to be part of it.

I may be shunned but I still like a well built rat rod. I always thought my camper would fall into the category of a rat rod. BUT, that was the ugliest vehicle I ever saw.
