  1. I like rat rods if done right. But that truck/car is................. Sorry I would be shunned if I used the words in my head. Such a waste of a truck.
  2. That guy should have his licenses pulled for even attempting this. He is an IDIOT. Way to much tail weight on such a short wheel base trailer. It will whip back and forth at increased speed. My guess would be 40 MPH I haul loads with trailers daily and have pushed the limits at times but this is just being stupid. I am glad my family is no where new that load.
  3. Very sorry to hear the sad news, you and your family are in our prayers.
  4. Sorry typo, get the last word in!!!!!
  5. Jeff just give up, I once knew a guy who always had to get the word in!!!!!!!
  6. I think that's where the blinker fluid comes from.
  7. Niiiicccceeeee!
  8. Check with local LTL (Less then Truck Load) trucking companies in your area. They may be able to drop your motor at a good rate.
  9. I also have in the same box 21 Magazines from AACA still in the mailing envelopes. I left a message for the AACA with my find and am waiting a reply. Thank you for the reply Jersey, Theses magazines have amazing pictures and info about vehicles. Just not Pilot Houses.
  10. A friend of mine just bought some Horseless Carriage Gazette books from an estate sale. Around 30 of them, all but a few still in the sealed envelope they came from originally. Late 60's. They are in amazing condition, he wants to sell them, any ideas how??? Or what they would bring???
  11. This one appears to be a dually, maybe that's the difference
  12. Big Thank You to all who have served to give me my freedom!!!!!!!!!! God Bless America!
  13. Awesome, love the color
  14. I am a board member of a small town Historical Society and my wife is a board member of another town, it sucks how much work and money is put into these property's from usually a small number of ACTIVE members to only get a few visitors a year. I have no idea how to peak interest of the next generations.
  15. I have given that some thought in the past but cannot bring myself to destroying a perfectly good original trailer. Plus you cannot have people in a towed trailer going down the road. I would still need a second vehicle to haul the kids.
  16. The truck has hydraulic and vacuum, the trailer has air brake controlled by a "johnny bar" Engine is 251 original rebuilt motor. Thanks for the praise
  17. I have been a member of ATHS for years, that's a good idea and will pursue that. I still have no clue on what the cost should be. Thanks for the input. Todd
  18. Its always been my goal to take it to Tim's BBQ, we could kill two birds with one stone.
  19. Not sure what happened to the color.
  20. A few years back I had given some thought to selling my Semi and matching trailer. My wife completely disagreed with the thought and I agreed with her so I cancelled the thoughts. Sooooo, My wife tells me she has an idea. Our grandkids count has grown to 6 for now and she thinks it would fun to have a big old convertible to go cruising with the grandkids and friends. She goes on explaining that we never take the semi out anymore like we used to years back and it sits in the shed. The only time I had it out this past summer was to go to Iola with Ben and then drive it up my hill for the Luau. The trailer never saw daylight this year. We have given it some thought and think its time for a new chapter and sell the semi and buy a convertible. The problem I am having is how do you sell something that unique and for how much? I really have no clue where to start!! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Todd B.
