Just one more mention that if anyone is near Northern Calif, then we hope you'll find your way to the Dodge Truck Meet this Sunday, April 27th.

Tim Estrada has spent the last two weeks getting the place ready; including the horseshoe pits, cleaning out the garage, and getting the Lawn Mower Racing course all ready. I think he even has some (slower) lawn mowers we can race on!

We've got the BBQ's ready, Truckin music to play and a number of people have already indicated that they're coming.

Bring the family! All mopar fans are welcome, even if it's not a truck. If your truck doesn't run, then tow it on over anyway. Bring your food and use our BBQ, or we'll have some hamburgers and hot dogs available for a donation.

Here's the link for more info:

I hope with this we can start a few more truck meets around the country.

I am planning on arriving sometime around 11AM with my 1933 DeLuxe. Will be caravanning the 110 miles (each way) with John Davies in his 1952 Cranbrook. Separately I expect Eric Beeby with his 1940 convertible to show up from Vacaville.

Short vid,

Was good to meet everyone, this was my first event ever in my 52 Plymouth. Good food and great people. Looking forward to the next one.

(as long as my car is not under construction again,)

Firetruck is a 1948 B1FA owned by James Crabtree. He trailered if over from Upper Lake. It barely fits on his trailer. He'll be taking it to some of the fireman's Musters during the summer. The state of California owned about 30 of them back then. That's the word I got from Jamie yesterday. Along with the truck he also brought a wonder pot of beans for all to enjoy :) I'll post my pictures this afternoon after work.

It was a great time, too bad there was not a better turnout. A lot of time and effort went into putting this event on. I'd like to thank our host and his family for their hospitality. Hopefully we will have another one next year. Thanks to all who participated. George

Yes, we had a great time. My wife Lisa and I arrived kind of late...12:30. We would have arrived sooner but my gas gauge in my Wagon was playing tricks on me and said I had 3/4 of a tank when in actuality we only had 3/4 of a quart. I should have driven Ole Yeller I guess. Tim and Bob did a really great job of putting on the first ever Pilot House meet and Tim has a an awesome House,Shop and Ranch.

Can't wait to see the photos !!

Here's the pics that I have. I tried to add names, but there are many that I am still learning. Let me know if you can help with some of the names.

As you can see many people had to drive quite a distance. We really appreciate your making the effort to attend our "first ever". Many attending don't even own pilot-house trucks but supported us with their wonderful cars and presence.

It was a wonderful looking truck. I didn't get a picture of it, did anyone else? Somebody send me one and I'll include it. your father-in-law was terrific to talk with. Glad he came.

Is there a prize for who arrived the latest? I ran a little late at church. I'm sorry I missed meeting everyone. But I did get to meet Tim and check out his great place.

I know a ton of hard work and preperation went into the event. Thanks Tim and Bob!:)

Rawge, really sorry that we missed you. You're one of the "originals" in my mind and was hoping you could have met more of the group. Glad you did get to meet Tim and his collection of trucks and race cars.
