Christmas came down from the attic.

Clearly, we are more anxious than ever this year.

Little Lennie simply cannot wait!

I could get joyous a bit IF those that celebrated Christmas WOULD wait (as you did) to open the season after the Thanksgiving holiday....but Christmas is on sale in all stores it seems long before Halloween candy is offered for sale....which by the way is now being pushed way ahead of that tradition.  Early Halloween candy sales is pushed as it has been found that the purchasers will consume this candy ahead of the holiday and will need to go out and resupply.....not disgruntled, just disappointed.

My anxious wife would not wait quietly one single day. I was up in the attic Nov 30.

It is now December, I will likely this evening retrieve from storage the Christmas stuff my wife likes to display.  Let the festivities begin....!  Call me old fashion but I am one of the few it seems that will take the time and cough up postage for Christmas cards.....this is an age old tradition that I will not break...

Yeah, we transitioned to only indoor Christmas trappings.  We used to do the outdoor decorations to the nines, and I put all the bells and whistles out the first winter we were here...then couldn't take them down until April.  Well, I probably coulda taken them down earlier, but that would have required shoveling snow and chiseling ice, and would have broken 1/2 of it.  Sure was purdy turning the lights on under the snow and ice, though.  I realize some folks wait until June, but I ain't one of 'em.  Here's wishing everyone enjoys the season, however you celebrate it, and even if you don't!

My wife started decorating our tree today. We got stuff out of storage Friday after Thanksgiving and set up the tree (fake tree). I used to decorate a lot outside, but haven't in years. My grandson is almost three now, so Christmas is a little more interesting this year for us. The reason for the season hasn't changed, but the perspective of a child is awesome to watch.
