Booger
Theres a R10 od manual out there By Randy Rundle the guru of bw r10s
greg g
There is an r 10 owner user manual in the downloads section of this site. Go to the main page its under one of th pull down tabs. There is also a schematic for wiring a manual by pass of the link down switch. So you can operate before you figure out the factory setup. Thanks for the help Thanks for the help I do have the overdrive manual, but it doesn't show how the cable is attached to the overdrive unit and I believe that I'm probably missing some mounting brackets and some pin to attach to the arm That's why I would like to see pictures of someone with the same overdrive mounted on there car so I could get idea a make mounting bracket
Young Ed
The cable attaches to a bracket that shares screws with the solenoid. I thought I had a pic but I looked through 2 of my threads on OD and I'm good at taking pics of the other side of the trans.

Solution grea235 Posted February 20 Solution Report Share Posted February 20 (edited) Sorry for the delay. If no one has gotten back to you, I took pictures of mine. It's an R10. The first picture is the bracket that bolts under the solenoid. Sorry for the upside down picture. The second shows the lever locked in, the third shows it locked out. I hope this helps. grea235
Unfortunately, I didn't install a kickdown switch yet. I have one wired in, but it is not on the throttle linkage, so I can't help with that piece.
