Who here owns the most radical custom P15?

Let’s see them, please!

Because radical is (still) my plan.

I am still planning to bring this one back from the shell that it has been for years now, and it’s going to come back as a radical custom. I’m a customizer at heart, and this car is not good enough to restore.

It was a trophy winner when I bought it but Nothing was original. I drove it over 65,000 miles before I parked it, and so even everything I had rebuilt was pretty worn.

So I have set my (stripped) Plymouth aside for many years now, knowing that I would eventually get back to it, but having too many other adventures in between. Motorcycles and sport planes and traveling to Mystic places…

Of course I had all kinds of P15 adventures back in the 1980s when it was shiny and fast. You could say I’ve already done that once, and I’m not in a hurry for a do-over.

I have a couple of much easier cars that I am going to do first, now that I am done piddling around with bicycles and motorcycles for a while.

But my plan to have a radical custom P 15 has not changed.

I would suppose it has been finished by now, but we all know how a project can be delayed for many years....   (I'm now at almost 43 years since purchase.)  But as I mentioned, my brother sent these photos to me back in 2011. (He didn't tell me where he got the photos - but I assume he saw them on the internet.)

Sometimes I wish I kept my keyboard to myself .... or had a rewind button.

Honestly I appreciate the skill & effort that went into the car .... way above my skill level today.

Some cars simply should not be chopped ... imho.  Seriously, just my opinion.

The rest of the work is not terrible .... That car needs a new roof line.

Anyone been watching this dude build this 35 Dodge? .... He claims it was 35 Dodge parts anyways ... then later he bought a 35 Desoto for parts.

He has done the roof maybe 3 times so far to get it where it is?

I am not against chopping a roof ... I just think some style needs to go with it.

Brent has built so many cars and trucks, too many to count. I live a couple hours away from him. He gets radical, and pulls it off every time. I dont know where he gets his energy from.
