Elizabethtown, Ky 45 mi S of Louisville & about 12 mi S of Fort Knox & the Gold Depository. Not listed on the poll, unless KN is supposed to be the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I can't be the only Kentuckian here can I ?

Bruce, I don't live in Kentucky but I grew up in Louisville. Did my basic training and MOS training in the army at Ft. Knox in 1961. Then did another 2 years at Ft. Knox from Nov 63 to January 66. Does that count?:) Been in Wisconsin since 1971. Still make it down there once a year to visit family.

Northwest Texas. Hot and dusty country, Wishin' for Alberta...but those Canadian gun laws...oh well, Montana is pretty too!:)

You can have 'em, just can't carry or use 'em (handguns that is)

All the crooks and gangs have 'em :mad::(

Rifles and shotguns are OK. Don't have to register them anymore but still can't have them in the back window of the pick-up:)

Anywhere near Amarillo or Palo Duro Canyon? I went though there a few years ago. Palo Duro is on my top two list of places that I think are truly haunted. Maybe Indian spirits? But, I would go back for another visit.

'Bout 100 miles Southeast of the Palo Duro. Pretty place, isn't it? Could be Indian spirits roam the Palo Duro, as General MacKenzie was a great Indian fighter in the area. All I know for sure is that entire canyon area is haunted, if you will, by plenty of the devil's own diamondback rattlesnakes, but blessed with mule deer with some might fine racks on 'em!
