  1. I thought I would update my question with a story about what I ended up doing. I took out the radiator and brought it to a shop here in the LA area. I paid 350.00 to have a new core placed into the orig. radiator. I took the opportunity to clean and paint my fan, replace the belt, and clean a lot of goop out from around the engine (the radiator hadn't been removed since 1947!!) I wanted to thank everyone for their input
  2. Anybody tried to place a modern radiator into a dodge from 41 to 48? I am looking for a cheaper alternative to re-coring my current one... Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Michael Courtney
  3. Looks like you could have a convertible on your hands cheap:)
  4. I have a 1947 D-24 Bizz coupe converted to 12V and I need a sending unit too. I bought one on Ebay that was stock and it didn't seem to work (don't know if the ohms were incorrect or if the orig unit was also fried??)
  5. my Antennae broke off while going through a carwash. The carwash company filed a claim with their insurance and offered to get me a new one ( I was happy to allow them to do this) The problem is that they can't find one for me. Anybody know a resource for an Antennae to go on my 1947 D24 3 window Dodge Coupe??
