B2B They say 1952 on the video.  Tail gate is not original.  I wonder why they did not park the windshield wipers in the down position? Very nice I bet the rear fenders are fiberglass.  That much work and not the correct hubcaps.

do to public embarrassment should the network choose to press the misidentification of the vehicle IF such misidentification was present at sale by the seller....would not want to be the seller in this case...but as noted seems ignorance is bliss as they are enjoying the truck..and we enjoy point out the obvious...everyone is happy.......

I posted photos of this truck a while back. ID and authenticity questions aside I think that since they are using this truck they ought to consider changing the show name to Yesterday.

I am just guessing from the absolute perfection and slightly more sheen that the rear fenders are fiberglass.  I have fiberglass rear fenders on mine.

My original steel fenders look as good (now) as those do.  Mine came with an assortment of dings, dents, broken chain damage as well as some rust issues.  Enough time spent with a hammer and dollies, slappers, cutting tools and welder can produce very good results.  Maybe it's fresher paint or the way the sun hits it to give it the brighter sheen.  Glass fenders can certainly reduce the time invested.  I'm not sure if I have any before  pics of how bad mine were when I started on them.  I still need to do a cut and buff before I call them done and take finish pics.
