pflaming Posted February 16, 2016 Report Posted February 16, 2016 My wife felt it, shook the house. Big Pine is north of Death Valley and south of Reno. Hillary is campaigning in Reno today! I wonder which way the gods spoke. LOL Quote
TodFitch Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/nc72592705#general_map In the Reedley/Sanger area you are considerably closer to the epicenter than anyone visiting Reno. Probably has something to do with "which way the gods spoke. LOL" More to the point, we have at least one forum member in the Bishop area very close to the epicenter. I hope he and his family did not suffer too much. 1 Quote
Ulu Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) I felt it in Fresno, but it was pretty gentle. Our building shakes that much just from the A/C repairman stomping across the roof. It was listed on USGS as a 5.4 but was immediately downgraded to a 4.8. Edited February 17, 2016 by Ulu Quote
RodFru2u Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 We did not feel it at all here near Downtown LA ( bout 7 miles away as the crow flies) Quote
