My wife felt it, shook the house. Big Pine is north of Death Valley and south of Reno. Hillary is campaigning in Reno today! I wonder which way the gods spoke. LOL

In the Reedley/Sanger area you are considerably closer to the epicenter than anyone visiting Reno. Probably has something to do with "which way the gods spoke. LOL"

 

More to the point, we have at least one forum member in the Bishop area very close to the epicenter. I hope he and his family did not suffer too much.

I felt it in Fresno, but it was pretty gentle. Our building shakes that much just from the A/C repairman stomping across the roof.

 

It was listed on USGS as a 5.4 but was immediately downgraded to a 4.8.

We did not feel it at all here near Downtown LA  ( bout 7 miles away as the crow flies)

Earthquakes......how about temps in So Cal in the upper 80's....some areas in the low 90's last week AND this week in FEBRUARY!!!!!!! El Nino who?????

Felt it....not much though. 

 

My buddy in Fresno is still reeling from the whole thing.
