Dolly Dodge's QuietRide Door and Kick panels, headliner, and firewall all now installed

This weekend I got the door and kick panels from QuietRide installed.  All the interior is now done, except the heater installation, sun visors, and rear view mirror.  It looks so cool.  As a side not the regulator/charging issue seems to be fixed, she is running like a champ.

Looking great DD! :) did the Quiet Ride have the cut out for the dome light or did you modify it?  i haven't got to that point yet, but i thought there is a "metal strap" or something at the seam that would have to be cut?

Brent, I cut the hole for the dome light. There was now metal strap, just the plastic and the fabric on the center seam. It took qite a bit of measuement to get it in the correct place, at least it took me a while. My door panels didn't have holes for the arm rests either, but I had the old ones to use as a pattern. I sure like the QuietRide products.

That DD interior looks great Rob. I notice that the kick panels either side are only short - is that how they came out in the USA?... ours here in Oz extend down to the floor...

Looks like a nice setup with the new panels, Though im kinda curious about the gauges in the radio delete panel? I never even considered that as an idea for adding aux gauges to my truck. Or a tach where the speaker is located on mine either. What gauges do you have in the delete panel? I may need to seriously consider that idea for mine for at least one aux gauge since my ignition kill switch is in that same area.

I like yours better. Mine are short too. It would look better if they went down to the floor.

Desotodav, the kick panels I have are just like the ones that came out of my truck, They would looke better for sure if they went to the floor.

Darkrider, I put a volt gauge and a vacumm gauge in the radio slot, and had a custom tach built for the speaker hole. I love gauges :)

Nice...i may just end up doing the same thing for the volt gauge, just place it under the coil switch...or i guess i could drill out the area where the switch was and mount the gauge up top and relocate the switch under it...hmmm either way i will sort that out...been trying to figure out a "clean" way to add additional gauges to my truck. Would it be possible to get a better pic of the gauges in the delete panel?

Glad to hear that DD is running well. That has to make you feel good. Your interior sure looks great too.

When are we going to be treated to the "New adventures of Dolly Dodge"? ;) Your videos were a huge inspiration to me when I started on my truck.

I am just about there now. Looking for the right saddle blanket to cover the seat for my dog Buddy.  The little guy loves going for a ride.

My upholstery is too slippery for him at the moment.  one for him..... one for me.

Here you go darkrider.  I would add more gauges but I didn't want to cut holes in the dash.  At one time we had gauges mounted below the gauge cluster mounted in a frame bolted to the bottom of the dash, but it wasn't real easy to read them.

Jeff, I will get some videos going someday soon.   I have been focusing on getting DD running correctly :)

As you should. I am just teasing (sort of). The main thing is to get it as you want it to be. That takes as long as it takes. :D

Awesome thanks for the pics! I can def see how i can set things up now...did you have to alter the slot for the radio itself to clear the gauges?

Looks great!! Good job!

I have a quiet ride firewall pad in mine, but it's black. I like their plastic face instead of cardboard - it'll hold up far better.

Did all your panels come molded in brown or were they sprayed ?
