Found something that looks too interesting to pass up.  Any pointers from you truck guys?  I've got an appointment to see this on the weekend.  I'm thinking I might drag this down to my place in the carolinas and park it in the garage for a few years until I'm full-timing it down there.

Advertisement says its a '52 B3C, "Needs total restoration". Partially disasembled.. Comes with 3 motors.

Look for the cancer...looks to be in all the normal places. Make sure you get all the parts taken off. Enjoy. Looks solid enough for a resto

I see it is equipped with a wheel house...

Aren't most equipped with a place to steer them?  Or is this new truck centric terminology that a car guy needs to learn?

some of the cancer looks like the door bottoms, fender rivets and cab mounts......., check floor boards and pull the seat to look for "Swiss cheese" where the cab and floor meet......

oh yeah, check the front spring hangers for abnormal wear.....

i second that,  "looks soild enough" ........ ( but then again, it turns out ggdad1951 will buy just about anything :) )

if you end up with it.......... photo's!

when is a spare considered not a spare?  I would think rubber is required for it to qualify as a spare.

That trucks about 30 mins away from me. I'd say for the price it's a good deal. Even if it does have some cancer in it.

Mark, don't worry to much about the truck, but watch Plymouthy ( pronounced, ply mouth ee).

you do that and you may get in trouble..remember Clark Griswold and the dog going cross country...of course you driving a Honda the dog may well be able to keep up...be sure to check them sandwiches before eating them..
