Dashboards should be interesting to look at  , for example I have always liked the 1948 Plymouth Special Delux dashes . Here is a photo of the dash on my 1941 Plymouth truck . I have never claimed to be normal .

Your dashboard looks great. On my 38, I have a hodge podge of

gauges. My originals are working, and I added a boat tach, volt

meter, and mechanical coolant temperature gauge..........

I often look up a particular car, say a '54 Plymouth on google, go to images and look at the dash board variations. I like the uniqueness of the dashes shown above. For my '54 Plymouth, I'm thinking of a very clean look with only the gauge cluster and minimum number of switch knobs, all else gone.

I've said this before but the creativity that is available when working with vehicles really fascinates me. Last week I saw a very nice 56 F100 perfectly restored, They covered the dash with a very nice leather/naugahide over a thin layer of padding, it was very appealing.
