where ever I live you'll have a place to crash..might be a couch or the floor, but a free place

Thanks Mark. I never did try that local lollie-water beer of yours! I look forward to seeing you here in Oz one day.

Be sure to post up some event photos.

day one.  I took a bunch of wide shots to show the scope of the show.....maybe it will inspire some to make it sometime!

Awesomely nice day today...over 12000 vehicles I'm told.

Added some from today to the photobucket folder. Included are a picture of some World War II airplanes flying overhead, proof I actually haul something with FEF, and a random orange truck I found while walking ;). I didn't walk as much today as I sat and watched vehicles drive by.

Thanks for the photos Mark, sure looks like a great show.

I went to another of our local car shows yesterday, and as usual there were few MOPAR's on display. My daughter did manage to snap some pictures of other trucks though (see attached). How cool is that old white Inter van!

Day three:

started up just fine, got ready to go loaded up the truck and waited for the g/f to get ready.  Loaded in, pulled out and looked back at the garage....hmmm what's the line of fluid I see?  Park the truck, get out and go smell it...gas...go back to the truck...gas pouring out of the fuel pump.  Turn off the truck, chock the tires clean up the mess, creeper underneath and start it...yep out of the fuel pump...

SO seems like a I have a fuel pump rebuild in my future...and an oil change, and a new oil filter.....I'm assuming the diaphragm is shot and pumped gas into the oil.

Anyone know of the GOOD rebuild kits and which oil filter do I need to get again?

Meanwhile, I've updated the photobucket album again.  Including a pic of the incoming rain...drove thru some good stuff coming home...glad it wasn't in FEF.

Didn't get much at the swap meet : just a cheap battery cutoff switch I don't know if I'd trust.

Could have been worse...you do run with a Fire Extinguisher I presume...

Fuel Pump Rebuild...Oh what fun but when you get the rod into the arm your're good (You'll also discover just how foul your language can be along the way) (get Chris on the line from Then & Now he'll walk you through it)

oil drained out...clearly more runny than it should be and a slight gas odor...

also anyone know where to find new copper crush washers for the oil pan?  Mine's pretty crushed already!

Was a good show the first two days....you guys should all make it next year and we could park together like a bunch of chebby trucks did yesterday!

I brought my drainplug to napa and matched it up with a copper ring. I think the one I got was a metric measurement but it fit great.

Nice pics, Mark. Sure wish I could have been there.

Ed. Is that your Dad's Plymouth truck next to your car? Good to see it out and about.

 Sure is.

That could be our 2015 mid west gathering.  I would be interested

That's a great idea, Todd.

It would certainly work. My only suggestion is plan it for Thursday before or Sunday/Monday after. Trying to get more than a couple cars into one area inside the actual event would be near impossible.
