I have a high school buddy who lives two blocks from my new house. He told me he already reported me to the neighborhood association council as being detrimental to the neighborhood.

who knows Don..this may just very well be a red carpet welcome......as I told  you in the PM be sure you put little Christmas bows on the boxes so when Lisa unpacks you will get a lifetime pass on gifts...

Dang...now I won't know anybody in the 'Boro. Of course, we don't get to Nashville since my mother in law is gone. So it's back to being a Hoosier for you. Do you have relatives in the area? Are you driving the Plym or shipping it? How long a drive is it? Good luck with the move.

Hope he's driving the Plymouth, that would be fun. Bet that car runs like the perverbial Rolls Royce. (or almost as good as Lumpy) Not that the weather is so great in the East and mid-west at the moment. ?

In a year it'll look the same as the old place.  Besides, you get a chance to start clean and make it the way you want.  Change the things you didn't like in the old place.

There is a sink in my soon to be new garage. Also there is a snow blower as I wrote it into the contract.

You did make it perfectly clear than one of the concessions to the wife before moving closer to the grandkids that clearing the snow was going to be her responsibility...and that you were supporting her the best you can by ensuring the snow blower stayed with the house..little give and take goes a long way....

 

swap meet is over...we did good..both selling and buying...but am glad to be at the house...

It is tucked away in a storage garage in Tennessee. I might go get it later this week and drive it home. Interesting thing about moving north at this time of the year is I get two Springs.

Don, the show is July 16th to the 20th. I will only be there on the Saturday for the show. I am planning on going the the Chrysler club's convention in Detroit for the show the week before also if you feel like driving!.
