I just called Rhode Island Wiring to see about getting a harness for the rear of my 2 door sedan P15. They don't have a 2 door sedan listed. They have several coupes. Does anyone know how much different it would be if I got a 4 door harness and put it in the 2 door? I worry about the dome light, light switch. I guess it should all be the same just a little longer. I was going to try to just pull out the old wires and replace them but the guy who owned the car before me has a quilt of wires and colors that would be difficult to follow. Plus I just like the looks of a well loomed harness.

Are there other wire houses that someone can recommend? I have had good luck with Rhode Island for the other cars I've done. Thanks.

i WOULD SAY CHECK YOU PLY PARTS BOOK AND THEN LOOK FOR WIRE HARNESS AND SEE IF THERE IS A DIFFERENT NUMBER FOR THE 4 DR VS THE 2 DOOR.  I WOULD THINK THAT THE DASH WIRES HARNESS WOULD BE THE SAME TO THE ENGINE AND LIGHTS.

tHE DOOR WIRE MIGHT BE THE ONLY ISSUE. tHE TAILLIGHT WIRE MIGHT ALSO BE THE SAME.  jUST MY THOUGHTS AND SUGGESTION.

courtesy light, and door switch/s maybe, can't see where the 4 door would be shorter than the two door. You could probably easily extend or shorten anything that is different.

Exactly how many wires are involved? How difficult can this be? As I see it there are a maxium of 10 wires going to the rear of the car and less if you dont have an electric gas cap. Seems silly to me to not make your own loom. And by making your own you cam make it look exactly how you want it to look.

Do YnZ's or Harnesses Unlimited stock the harness for your two door? My limited experience is that both of those vendors make good products.

I decided to go with Rhode Island Wiring - I'm getting the 4 door harness. While I like to do somethings myself I see no need in reinventing th wheel.
