pflaming Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Found a perfectly restored 47+/- Fargo 1/2 ton here in Brunswick Maine. Took pictures but left the camera cord at home. Will post those later. This is NICE country, cool, GREEN, blue skies and CLEAN AIR!! Needed the break. GO RED SOX! (my grandson's team!) Quote
Dave72dt Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 In about 3 months it'll be green, gold, yellow, russet and cooler and 3 months after that it's mostly white and well past the cool stage. Quote
pflaming Posted June 18, 2012 Author Report Posted June 18, 2012 Our son has a PT practice in Bath. When he moved here, they said, wait til winter. He replied, I grew up in Omaha, NE. One Mainer who had also lived in Omaha, replied, "Bath winters are mild compared to Omaha, NE." and it's true, but then this is coastal. I notice a type of national isolation when I'm in Maine. In California our 10 o'clock news tells us most all of what happened in the Naiton. Out here they hear of California news the next morning. It's an interesting paradigm shift. Very nice, Oysters tonight at a lobster shack!!!!! Quote
HanksB3B Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 O.K. then I'll fill you in Rodney King was found at the bottom of his swimming pool. Preliminary findings found no foul play. Other than that, just the usual 50 high speed pursuits we love to watch that is until the drunken idiot t-bones a soccer mom with a van full of kids. Don't forget to do some fishing! Hank P.S. Just because you are on the East Coast doesn't mean you have to root for a team from there. Quote
