ggdad1951 Posted April 29, 2018 Author Report Posted April 29, 2018 so took a trip to Windy Hil yesterday. They put up a pic of a 1.5 ton on fb they just got. I had planned ongoing anyway, but it was icing on the cake. When we got there I found actually they had gotten several more trucks since my last visit 3 years ago. Oddly, many had lots of swag left: knobs, engine parts and the like. SADLY badging had been taken alread. I did grab some of the stuff but left some for others. the haul: Front fenders for TODD a reall rotten out tailgate to hang on the shop 2 matched sets of door locks/ignition (one with key) door lock headlight ring B1/2 parking bucket set B1/2 parking bucker doors a pile of the ACME style threaded fastners couple of center divider bars trucks tags full fresh air package pile of B1/2 door handles knobs accessory pod with knobs several other items as well as my 39 grill from the BBQ some eye candy 4 Quote

I'd say hit both French Lake and Windy Hill. the first is huge and well organized but has little for us, the later us a mess but has stuff for us. I might swing out sometime and grab those PW grills just because they are cool. Quote
ggdad1951 Posted April 29, 2018 Author Report Posted April 29, 2018 A week ago we had snow and frozen ground...yesterday we found woodticks out already and (blood)thirsty! Quote
John-T-53 Posted April 30, 2018 Report Posted April 30, 2018 You like those tailgates with the chute in them, don't you? Nice haul, any choke knobs? And on that yellow PW, you know when they put the "M" upside down, it's disrespect! 1 Quote

ggdad1951 Posted October 31, 2020 Author Report Posted October 31, 2020 Spent trick or treat morning getting me some treats. Spoils of the pick below. I got the green Power Wagon grill a few years back and its been hanging in on my shop wall. A B1 grill I will swap with the bent up one on my wall for patch panels for TODD, the yellow PW grill, Truck Master 75, horn, glove box door, something special for Brent (we will see if he sees it), and panel truck rear fenders (rough but a good starting point). 1 Quote

FEF (rest B3D) stands for Fredrick Elsworth Fritsche...ggpas first name dadss middle my last, all the family owners. TODD (street rod) stands for turbo diesel and also is the name (or so I though for 2 years without being corrected) of my friend whom I bought the modern donor engine from. PUMA (COE) is the name of the shop cat that hung out on him when we first moved here. Went missing after the carrier broke at the vet office and she ran off into the woods. 2 months later we managed to track her down and catch her and bring her home. 1 1 Quote
