I found this photo in a local magazine today. 80's rock group from northern california called "Camper Van Beethoven". Someone will find this truck behind a barn some day:)

Tom;

Ooooh! I like that.......I've been thinking of painting the old truck myself.

(mainly just to give our Hank summat to grumble at ;))

If I had any paint on it I would go for the patina look..when it's good it's really good......but the previous owner didn't leave me any to work with.

Now I have something to shoot for.

Thanks, Jeff

Are those all dudes?

HAHA I thought the same thing. I think so but that one on the right had me looking carefully.

OMG! Looks exactly like Jeff B when he was in High School. I always thought Kenny G looked a lot like Jeff too.

Back at cha,

Hank :D

I have been trying to figure out how to do a Tie-Dye paint job.............

just to see the look on your face.......so now it is between this one and

Desert Camo.

Seems that they've been around since 1988. Here's their web site. http://campervanbeethoven.com/fr_home.cfm

1983. The picture is circa 1985. Lead singer went on to form the band "Cracker", guitar player joining "Counting Crows"....playing in the 80's myself, I remember these guys. lol
