Just over 2200 made that year so pretty rare. I have a lot of fond memories from this one. Dad owned it quite a bit of my childhood and its one of the cars I practiced driving a manual in. I remember rolling backwards about a 1/2 a block one of the first times I tried a hill. Cant quite see in the picture but the original 39 caps were crusty so this one had p15 hubcaps on it. The day the new owner came to get it I took all 4 of those off and replaced with better 39 style ones Dad had found. Those same 4 p15 caps are now on my p15 so I still have a small piece of the 39. The reason I place a bid (hopefully at the very beginning) is so that I get notified if I'm outbid, but I don't bid again till the very last moments. Hank The feeling is a lot like gambling. When you win it's a major adrenaline rush, when you loose it's such a let down. I try to remember many years ago how I felt when my 15 year old girlfriend told me she was going to the store for cigarettes and never came back. Then I tell myself "So what I didn't win, things are not so bad". Quote
